Bavarian music - musicians from Munich for hire

Bavarian music is as diverse as few other musical genres. In addition to curious artists such as Willy Michl from Munich (whose "Bobfahrerlied" is part of our repertoire), there were, for example, the Biermösl Blosn, who knew how to set themselves apart with critical lyrics, or the still active Spider Murphy Gang, whose rock'n'roll ("Mir san a bayerische Band") is also interpreted by us.
Traditional musicians usually play Bavarian folk music such as Stubenmusi (often quieter pieces, e.g. with zither or harp), Zwiefache (fast pieces alternating between 2/2 time and 3/4 time) and Landler (dance in 3/4 time). The Bergvagabunden restrict themselves to the best-known beautiful songs from Bavaria (including Heit gibt's a Rehragout, In München steht ein Hofbräuhaus and many more) which are suitable for celebrating - just like at the Oktoberfest in Munich.
The most typical musical instruments (even if they are not all from Bavaria) include accordion, Styrian harmonica (ziach), guitar, zither, harp, brass instruments (especially trumpet, clarinets in B flat and E flat, horn, baritone, tuba), Goaßlschnalzer, cowbells and alphorn. A Schuhplattler can then be danced to it.
German - Bavarian folk and brass music
German folk music from Bavaria evokes associations of Bavarian cosiness, hearty music or a rustic atmosphere. Various instrumentations are common in Bavarian brass music (also known as brass band music). One of the best-known orchestras is Ernst Hutter and Die Egerländer Musikanten. Brass music can be played with or without percussion, as well as with or without accordion or Styrian harmonica.
